Please Note: Players who have registered and made a tryout team do not register here.  This registration is for our Bears programs only.   

Opportunities for players age 8 and under

• Cub Club (FREE) - For skaters who are interested in getting on the ice with a stick and puck but are not yet ready for 6U we anticipate an open ice session at Appleton Arena on Saturday mornings from 8-9 am and a 30 minute ice session during the week.  All players will need a USA hockey number, which is only $15 for those age 6 years old and under, and will need to register through this registration.  
• Snowplow Sam/ St. Lawrence Figure Skating (learn to skate) St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club runs an initiation program.  The program is intended to introduce children to the basics of skating. Once players can skate they will be ready for the 6U program.  Please register through the SLFSC Snowplow Sam program, https://sites.google.com/view/stlawrencefigureskatingclub/home.  

• 6U ($300) – 6U serves as an introduction to the basics of hockey for 2019 & 2020 birth years. As the season progresses players are introduced to concepts such as advanced skating techniques, passing, shooting, and stickhandling.  The 6U program runs for about 20 weeks with players on the ice on average 3 times per week for approximately 50 minutes per ice session.  A limited number of play days are scheduled with other local area programs throughout the season.  This team generally participates in 1-2 tournaments during the season.  Tournament play is at the discretion of the team. The cost of one tournament is included in the registration fee for each team, additional tournaments will billed separately.
• 8U ($350) - The 8U program continues many of the skill development areas from 6U adding an elevated level of competition, skill development and general hockey awareness for 2017 & 2018 birth years.  The 8U program runs for about 20 weeks with players on the ice on average 3 times per week for approximately 50 minutes per ice session.  The travel and game play at the 8U level becomes slightly more extensive throughout the county or local area. This team generally participates in 2-3 tournaments during the season.  Tournament play is at the discretion of the team. The cost of one tournament is included in the registration fee for each team, additional tournaments will billed separately. 

Players age 9 and older - 

All options listed below are dependent on sufficient registrations and coaching.

• Bears 10U Travel ($500) – The 10U travel program is open to girls and boys with 2015 & 2016 birth years.  The team(s) will run for approximately 20 weeks skating on average 3 times per week.  We expect the schedule will consist of approximately 15-20 home games and 15-20 away games.  This team(s) generally participates in 3-4 tournaments during the season.  Tournament play is at the discretion of the team. The cost of one tournament is included in the registration fee for each team, additional tournaments will billed separately.  Players should expect travel to be moderate within the county or local area with occasional trips to Canada and or Central NY.  
• Bears 12U Travel ($500) The 12U travel program is open to girls and boys ages with 2013 & 2014 birth years.  The team will run for approximately 20 weeks skating on average 3.5 times per week.  We expect the schedule will consist of approximately 20 home games and 15-25 away games.  This team generally participates in 3-4 tournaments during the season.  Tournament play is at the discretion of the team. The cost of one tournament is included in the registration fee, additional tournaments will billed separately.  Players should expect travel to be moderate within the county or local area with occasional trips to Canada and or Central NY.
